| This sounds very much like a pre-recorded 'bot' greeting - "Hello, this is Jackie. There is absolutely nothing to worry about but do you have any problems with dampness ~~~?" We've had this call a few times. Initially I asked if (it) she had heard of the Telephone Preference scheme. This resulted in an immediate disconnection. Hence my suspicion that this was a 'bot voice'. Suspecting that my replies may be recorded for possible 'A.I. butchering' and use, I have ensured that I alter my voice tone and simply ask "Why?" Again, this results in an immediate disconnection. I have now saved this number and have it refused connections to my phone. | A month ago |
