The protection of your personal data is a major concern for the Nuremberg-based company validio GmbH & Co.KG (hereinafter referred to as “validio”). For this reason, we only collect, process, and use your personal data in accordance with legal regulations.
The use of our services may require the collection, storage, and processing of personal data.
- Personal Data
Personal data constitutes any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person, including, for example, name, address and telephone number.
- Collection, Processing, and Utilization of Data
We assure that we collect, process, and use your personal data as well as the personal data of your customers in strict accordance with data privacy laws, in particular in compliance with the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz – TMG). Personal data on this website is collected and used exclusively for technical and contractual purposes.
We only record personal data to the extent that this is necessary in order to allow the use our service. Subject to any legal obligations to preserve records, this information shall immediately be deleted or – upon request – anonymized by validio after you have completed using our service or your account has been deleted.

We only use the personal data you provided or disclosed to us in the context of using the respective service insofar that it is required for contractual purposes or for the fulfillment of our services. In certain cases, after obtaining the explicit consent of the user, data may be disclosed to third parties. We shall not use your data for any further purposes. Your personal data, non-public data, and your contact persons in particular shall not be made accessible to the public. Government institutions and authorities shall only be granted access or transferred data insofar this is prescribed by law and/or a government institution or authority has demanded that we transfer or grant access to data.
Your personal data shall only be disclosed insofar as is required for contractual purposes or for the fulfillment of services being provided. Apart from this, no personal data shall be forwarded to third parties.
- Google Analytics
The mobile app “Clever Dialer” uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”).
Just as with Google Analytics for websites, the information generated about your use of the app is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
To protect your data, however, we have activated IP anonymization on our app, so that your IP address is abbreviated in advance by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other countries which are contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this app to evaluate your use of the app, to compile reports on app activities, and to provide further services related to the use of the app and the Internet for the app operator. According to Google, the IP address transmitted by the app as part of Google Analytics shall not be combined with other data of Google.
You can prevent the transmission of usage data to Google by deactivating the menu item “Tracking” found in Settings > Data Privacy.
- Your Consent
Downloading the app and using our services is completely voluntary.
Before being able to use the app, you shall be asked for your consent that the call numbers you have selected may be anonymously transferred to the app, for example, to provide additional information about unknown numbers listed in your caller history.
By simply sending a notification to email@example.com, it is possible for you to revoke consent at any time with immediate effect on the future. Use of this app however shall then be rendered impossible and the app should be uninstalled from your smartphone.
